Saunas are open until 9:30pm

FAR Infrared Sauna and Full Spectrum Heat

Rid your body of heavy metals and toxins.  Instead of heating the air within an enclosed space, infrared saunas heat the body directly, resulting in increased circulation as well as deeper tissue and joint penetration. Our Far Infrared Sauna has ceramic/carbon heaters, two full spectrum heaters and a cool chromotherapy feature to set the mood and balance your energy.

Benefits of Sauna

Weight Loss

Sauna sessions will raise your core temperature, and lead to an increased heart rate and improved circulation — very similar to how your body reacts to activity and exercise. The increased heart rate, and high core temperature makes your body work harder.  The additional work your body is performing, burns extra calories and aids in weight loss.  An article, titled Effect of Sweating, in the Journal of the American Medical Association concluded that a 30-minute infrared sauna session could burn roughly 600 calories.

Detoxification

Sweating is our body's natural detoxification process, making it a crucial part of any wellness routine. Both traditional dry saunas, and infrared saunas allow you to eliminate toxins and nasty metals stored within our body's fats and muscles.

Relaxation

Sauna therapy promotes relaxation and aids in balancing levels of cortisol, your body’s primary stress hormone. The physiological and mental relaxation that occurs during a sauna session, can aid in treating depression and fatigue. Sauna heat therapy also opens up the body and loosens muscles to relieve tension and stress.

Pain Relief

You can address muscle aches or joint pain, with frequent saunas sessions.  Exposing your body to heat can reduce this form of inflammation, by increasing and stimulating circulation, thereby relaxing your muscles.

Mental Health

Sauna use increases the hormone BDNF (brain derived neutrophic factor). Studies have shown that raising BDNF is an effective way to combat anxiety and depression

Skin Treatment

Infrared sauna technology can help to cleanse your skin by squeezing out toxins, buried in your pores. The increased blood circulation can help to achieve clearer, softer, and healthier-looking skin.
